Padma Mahadev, Counsellor, Co-Founder & Chair Person of the trust.

Padma Mahadev, is a trained teacher with over 20 years experience as a counsellor. She helped her mother battle cancer and is now caregiver to her husband who has tongue cancer. Using her experiences, for the past ten years, she has been helping countless people deal with the emotional issues that come with cancer. She is a firm believer in the philosophy that mind matters in cancer cure. Padma is one of the co-founders of Connect-to-Heal and the chairperson of the Trust.

Corinne Kumar

Dr. Corinne Kumar, Ph.D., is the co-founder of Vimochana Forum for Women’s Rights. She has worked on a number of issues like domestic violence, dowry- related deaths and workplace sexual harassment. Corinne, is not only a trustee of Connect to Heal, she is also the founding member of Asian Women’s Human Right’s Council and is the editor to two human rights journals, Sangarsh and The Quilt.She is one of the founder trustees..

Nagesh Sriraj

Nagesh Sriraj, is an IT professional. Being a cancer survivor, he was inspired to help others going through the same. This led him to co-found Connect to Heal, with an aim to support those dealing with this diagnosis and their caregivers as well.He is one of the founder trustees..

Dr. Sunanda Easwaran, Ph.D.,

Dr. Sunanda Easwaran, Ph.D., holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta in addition to a Masters degree. After 15 years of experience working in the fields of marketing and market research, she has been teaching at a number of business schools across the country for the past 30 years. Her area of additional interest has been Women’s Enterprise Training. Since losing her husband to cancer, her focus has been on enabling women from lower and middle- income households who have family members fighting cancer to be self-sufficient. Sunanda is a trustee of Connect to Heal.

Ajitha Deo

Ajita Deo, is a cancer survivor and works as a teacher. She is a cancer survivor and was the primary caregiver for her husband when he was suffering from a chronic ailment. Her experiences have made her a sensitive and thoughtful counselor to plenty of people going through the same. She is a trustee at Connect to Heal.

Chitra, Counsellor

Chitra T.V., is a Counselling Psychologist who has been practising for more than 10 years. She holds multiple certifications in various counselling modalities. She works with adults, families, children and adolescents, both in private practice and corporate settings. Chitra was a banker before entering into Psychology and Counselling.

Satya Prakash Nigam

Satya Prakash Nigam, is an IT professional with over 20 years experience in the field and has worked for Microsoft, Yahoo among other. He is also a keen musician who plays a number of instruments and is a trained yoga instructor. Satya Prakash was the primary caregiver to his wife during her battle with cancer, and since losing her he is passionate about helping and supporting others who are going through the same.

Pratima Rao

Pratima Rao is a Gold Medalist from Delhi School of Economics. She has an M.A in Economics. Has worked in reputed Corporations like ITC, IBM,Ogilivy & Mather and TCS.She has an interest in education related projects as well as a desire to help people…

Ms. Meera Ravi

Meera Ravi is the Founder of Prerna Academy. She shares our goal of providing Emotional Support to those dealing with cancer. Prerana Academy, a counselling centre established in 2003 in Bangalore, strives to improve the quality of life. It helps people to reach out to themselves, to be aware of their personality, abilities and feelings. Along with providing counselling for children, parents, individuals and couples, Prerana also conducts various need-based activities, custom designed counselling courses to learn counselling skills and courses related to human behaviors.
